For Gleeks, Black Friday Took On a Whole New Meaning

In the wee hours of Black Friday, while thousands of crazed shoppers were beating down the doors and opening themselves up to Death By Stampede at Walmarts across America, I was sobbing.

Why, you ask?  I had just found out the news that Glee will go on hiatus – a verrrrrrrrrrrrry long hiatus – in just a few short weeks.

As I reported over at SpoilersGuide, the last show is set for December 9th.  Then Glee doesn’t return until… wait for it … April 13th.

That’s right, J.D.  It’s a legitimate reason to scream in agony.

Oh yeah, and it will come back on a new night: Tuesdays at 9PM EST, for those of you who care to hear more.

All I can hope is that the Evil Television Marketing Geniuses have a big plan to fill the dry spell with some halfway decent programming, not the dreck that you usually get mid-season.  Harrumph.

Stay tuned…
