I Want YOU… to Vote for the BGQOAT!

Well, my friends, on Saturday I’ll be off to Hawaii for a much-needed family vacation. Yes, even people who sit around and blog about television shows need to partake in their share of R&R. (What, you think writing about Glee all the time is easy!?)
As much as I’d like to promise otherwise, I probably won’t be posting while I’m gone. But I’m not leaving you to twiddle your collective thumbs. You have a homework assignment.
Starting today, I’m launching my quest to find THE BEST GLEE QUOTE OF ALL TIME (BGQOAT)*. As you can see, I’ve started the ball rolling by assembling a quick list of 10 that tickle my fancy and plopping them into this nifty little poll. And that’s where you come in, dear Gleeks.
I can’t emphasize enough that this is NOT an exhaustive list. There’s a shitload (sorry, Grandma) of quotes out there … but come on, people: I don’t have the time. I have a plane to catch! The fact is that I need your help to build the collection.
So here’s what you need to do:
1) Scan your brains, your favorite blogs, your Facebook, your emails, your DVRs, whatever … and find those quotes that make you love this show so damn much.
2) Add them as write-in candidates to my poll.
3) Then VOTE! (one entry per visitor, please)
I’ll see how many votes we rack up while I’m gone, and announce the results when I get back. Then I’ll take the winner(s) from this poll and, as the season progresses, add them to new polls with yet-to-be-determined quotes. And, hopefully by the end of the season we will have determined (voila!) the BGQOAT.
So, in the words of Sue Sylvester … “Find your voice. Stomp that yard. All that crap.”
Now, VOTE!
*Or, for those of you who are phonetically inclined, the Bee-Gee-Quote.
